McMullen County, Texas

Financial Intelligence (FI) is pleased to announce that on July 13, 2020, McMullen County, Texas approved Financial Intelligence to install cloud-based financial software designed specifically for county government. The move to the FI financial software was recommended by McMullen County Childress County Treasurer, Jill Atkinson. The multi-year agreement with Childress County, Texas will provide a single threaded solution to create efficiencies for the County.

Childress County, Texas

Financial Intelligence (FI) of Conroe, Texas is pleased to announce that on July 1, 2020, Childress County, Texas completed the migration from their legacy financial software provided by HCSS to the latest financial software provided by Financial Intelligence (FI). Childress County Treasurer, Brenda Overstreet, lead the effort to modernize the County’s financial software saying, “It was remarkable the progress our staff and FI made to install and train on the new software as COVID-19 was breaking out.” Mrs. Overstreet said, “her team and FI had to rewrite the playbook in real time to overcome the challenges presented as COVID-19 forced us to change the way we work and interact with the public.” And that, “The FI software made it extremely easy because of its ability to run over the Internet.”

FI President Robert Baird said “We had just started the software installation and training process when COVID-19 began to change the processes we have used to install over 20 county customers.  Not only was the courthouse on lockdown, but the hotel our team was staying at in Childress closed. Brenda and her staff were very flexible as we learned how to train her staff under such unique circumstances.”

Cyber Crime Training for the Texas Association of County Auditors

Financial Intelligence President Robert Baird was asked to be a guest speaker at the June training conference for the Texas Association of County Auditors held in Graham, Texas at the Wildcatter Ranch. Robert taught 60 Auditors and their staff about current trends in cyber- crimes targeting county governments.

Childress County, Texas

Zavala County, Texas

Financial Intelligence (FI) is pleased to announce that on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, the Zavala County Commissioners Court approved FI to install its financial software designed specifically for county government.  The move to the FI financial software was recommend by Zavala County Auditor Carlos Pereda, Jr. and Zavala County Treasurer Elizabeth Rodriguez.

Concho County, Texas

Financial Intelligence (FI) is pleased to announce that Concho County, Texas has selected FI to install its cloud-based financial software designed specifically for county government. The move to the FI financial software was recommend to the Concho County Commissioners Court by Concho County Treasurer, Jenifer Gierisch. The multi-year agreement with Concho County for FI’s suite of county government financial software will provide a single threaded solution to create efficiencies for the County Treasurer.

Grimes County, Texas

Financial Intelligence (FI) announced today that it has signed a multi-year agreement with Grimes County, Texas for the installation of FI’s suite of county government financial software.  After looking for a partner it could work with for the long term, Grimes County selected Financial Intelligence to provide a single threaded solution to create efficiencies for the County Auditor and Treasurer.  The selection of FI’s cloud-based solution eliminates infrastructure and related costs.

“FI is honored to have been selected by Grimes County to introduce our integrated SaaS financial platform designed specifically for county government.  The officials spent a great deal of time looking at various alternatives.  There are many qualified vendors and their decision to choose FI validates the unique business model we offer,” said Robert Baird, President of Financial Intelligence.”

At the recommendation of Ouachita County Treasurer, Honorable Missy Chambers, the Ouachita County Quorum Court approved the selection of Financial Intelligence (FI) of Little Rock as the new financial software provider.  FI began installing and training Ouachita County on the new county financial software in December 2017.

Columbia County, Arkansas

At the request of Columbia County Treasurer, Selena Blair, and Columbia County Clerk, Sherry Bell, the Columbia County Quorum Court approved the selection of Financial Intelligence (FI) of Little Rock as their new financial software provider.  FI will begin installing and training Columbia County on the new financial software in November.  The FI software is seen as an upgrade to the software used for many years by Columbia County.

Sevier County, Arkansas

At the request of Sevier County Treasurer, Risa Krantz, and Sevier County Clerk, Debbie Akin, the Sevier County Quorum Court approved the selection of Financial Intelligence (FI) of Little Rock as the new financial software provider.  FI began installing and training Sevier County on the new county financial software earlier this month.  The FI software is seen as an upgrade to the software used for many years by Sevier County.

Amanda Meyers Epperson to Consult with FI

LITTLE ROCK, May 1, 2013 – Financial Intelligence (FI) of Little Rock announced that it has reached an agreement with Amanda Meyers Epperson to consult on software issues relating to FI’s county government financial software. Ms. Epperson is a CPA and a thirty-two-year veteran of the Arkansas Division of Legislative Audit. She has extensive experience in governmental statutes concerning accounting and financial record keeping.

Financial Intelligence President, Robert Baird said, “We are enjoying incredible growth in Arkansas, we believe, because our financial software has been designed to meet the specific requirements of Arkansas County government. Many software vendors have tried unsuccessfully to install financial software designed for counties in other states, but the needs of Arkansas Counties, such as ACT 122, are unique.”

“It made sense for us to hire Amanda when we got the chance,” Baird continued. “Our software is cutting edge and the number of Arkansas Counties that have recently switched to the FI solution is an indication that we are filling a need. We want to be proactive, and working with Amanda will help ensure that we provide our customers a world-class software and customer support experience.”

Calhoun County, Arkansas

At the request of Calhoun County Clerk, Alma Davis, former County Treasurer, Kristi Webb, and supported by newly appointed County Treasurer, Shana Carter; the Calhoun County Quorum Court approved an agreement authorizing Financial Intelligence (FI) of Little Rock to install new county government financial software. The Court’s action displaced a long time financial software services provider. Mrs. Davis told the court that selecting FI to provide new financial software would bring better customer service and fresher software to the courthouse and would allow Calhoun County to purchase its own computer hardware. The old software provider required Calhoun County to purchase all computer hardware through them for a much higher cost.

Shackelford County, Texas

At the request of Shackelford County Treasurer, Tammy Brown, the Shackelford County Commissioners’ Court unanimously approved an agreement authorizing Financial Intelligence (FI) of Conroe, Texas and Little Rock, Arkansas to install new county government financial software. The Court’s action displaces a long time financial software services provider that could no longer keep up with the growth of Shackelford County according to Mrs. Brown.

Garland County, Arkansas

Garland County Clerk, Treasurer and County Judge officially began using the state-of-the-art browser based software developed by Financial Intelligence. They successfully distributed their first payroll to the employees on July 2. Processes being used include Payroll, Human Resources, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Budgeting, Fixed Assets and Treasury Management.

Saline County, Arkansas

Saline County Clerk and County Judge officially began using the state-of-the-art browser based software developed by Financial Intelligence. Processes being used include Payroll, Human Resources, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Budgeting, and Fixed Assets.
